Who we are

Inbox Angel is provided by MBTB Enterprise Inc("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for the personal data we collect about you when you use the Service.

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, login credentials, and authentication tokens.
• Gmail data (with your consent): message metadata (sender, subject, date, labels) and message IDs we need to group, archive, label, or trash messages. We process the minimum needed to provide the Service and do not store full message bodies.
• Subscription data: plan, status, and billing period (payment details themselves are handled by Paddle).
• Support data: messages you send to support.
• Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and usage/telemetry needed for security and reliability.

How we use your data

• Provide the Service — authenticate you, connect to Gmail, and execute the cleanup actions you request (contract).
• Security & fraud prevention — detect abuse, protect accounts (legitimate interests).
• Customer support — respond to your requests (contract / legitimate interests).
• Product improvement — aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics (legitimate interests).
• Legal compliance — comply with applicable laws (legal obligation).

Who we share data with

• Google (Gmail API) — to read message metadata and perform cleanup actions you authorize.
• Cloud hosting & database providers — to host the Service and store account data.
• Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record for selling the Service, managing subscriptions, processing payments, calculating tax, and issuing invoices.
• Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and similar advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content of your Gmail messages to train AI models or for advertising.

Google API data use

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and security obligations. You can delete your account at any time, after which we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and security monitoring.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
